Why Is Thermal Protection Important?
Cold-induced sensation loss is a real problem on sites. If you handle hazardous material that has the potential to cut you, you can't do this safely with numb, tingling hands. Milwaukee Cut Resistant gloves allow you to handle sharp material safely, thanks to a terry-cloth lining that ensures your hands stay warm for as long as you're working.
Level 3 Cut Resistance
Milwaukee Thermal Cut Resistant Gloves combine Level 3 cut-resistance, across-the-board mechanical resistance and cold weather protection. Designed for those working with hazardous material outdoors, they allow the safe handling of cold, sharp material around yards, building areas and construction sites.
What Is Terry Cloth?
Terry cloth is a highly absorbent fabric that is amazing when used as insulation. A terry cloth liner is thin and inobtrusive and works to absorb micro-droplets of moisture that can seep through and penetrate your glove. It is incredibly comfortable and insulates against cold brilliantly, preventing freezing temperatures transferring onto your hands.
What Does a Latex Coating Do?
Latex is an incredibly durable, cost-efficient coating. Because of its widespread use and subsequently inexpensive nature, gloves manufactured with latex are inexpensive whilst remaining high quality. Latex coated gloves tend to have a higher puncture and tear resistance than their nitrile counterparts.
What Are the Benefits of a Three Quarter Coating?
A three-quarter coating covers the palm, fingers and the majority of the backside of the hand. The idea behind this is that the vast majority of the hand is protected against cuts, abrasions and punctures, and a small portion of the back of the hand is left to allow air, odour, perspiration and sweat to exit naturally whilst you work.
