EN 388

• 3X43D

EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of a glove used for safety and protection. It determines the performance of a glove when used whilst working in and around mechanical machinery by measuring abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance.

The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.

EN 1186

BladeShades have been tested in accordance with EN 1186. They are suitable for use with all food categories in situations of short term, repeat contact.

Sizing of the Knitted Cut Resistant Glove

The Bladeshades Seamless Knitted Glove is available in five sizes that should suit the hands of most users. Please measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles (excluding the thumb) with your hand open and your fingers together, and the length of your hand from the tip of your middle finger to your wrist.
