Stay Cool and Comfortable
Working in hot environments can be dangerous if the correct precautions are not taken. Frustration, exhaustion and heat stroke are all commonly caused by overexposure to heat, and sometimes the consequences can be deadly. The Head Band is designed to protect the particularly sensitive head area from heat stress, helping to reduce the chances of illness or injury related to hot weather exposure.
How to Use the Portwest Head Band
Portwest evaporative cooling products are constructed from an innovative PVA multi-layered fabric that uses a unique polymer chemistry. Simply activate by soaking in water, engendering a chemical reaction within the fabric that enables the garments to act like a sponge, retaining water and keeping the body cool in hot weather conditions.
Instructions
Simply saturate the head band in water for one to two minutes and squeeze to remove any excess. The band can then be worn and will not dampen any clothes underneath. When the head band becomes dry, simply repeat for a further eight hours of cool comfort.
